DVD copying question?

Hello,

So, I bought a DVD collection from this site, and it looks like they had copied the DVDs. They recorded the episodes from off of the TV and burned them to a disk. They made dvd covers o fall dvds and made it look authentic. Is it illegal to sell dvds that way?

If you know they are pirated copy's then NO! Copyright Laws. Just read the beginning of any dvd to see what they. My friend got his movies from a guy who sold copy's like this and he is know going to spend up to 8 years in jail.
