dvd shrink...............,?

i downloaded dvd shrink a while ago i didnt know how to use it so i just left it, now i came back to it to rip a dvd that i really need. when i click on Backup! the box comes up but down the bottom i dont know if i need to tick create VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS subfolders.
what does it do?
do i need it to be able to watch the dvd once dvd shrink is finished with it?
and also how can you play them on the computer without the disk?

Create Sub folders just means that it outs the files into folders for you in case you want to make another copy of the dvd.
Which i always do , this way if anything goes wrong with the actual disc copy i can Data copy the 2 folders across to a blank dvd.
when all done i can just delete the folders.
