Dvd Subtitle Problems? HELP!?

Dvd Subtitle Problems? HELP!?
so i put a dvd in my mac and it has subtitles when i don't want it to! i've tried restarting my computer, going to the languages section on it and clicking "no subtitles", ejected the dvd and put it in again!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what should i do??? oh if it matters i have Mac OS X (version 10.5.8) HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and it just started. (the subtitle problem) i got the dvd around 5 months ago.
 
Maybe the subtitles are embedded into the video? That they are part of the video.

You could try opening the DVD with VLC see if that changes anything.
