dvd vs. cd [mounting an iso file]?

i jus downloaded a ver of Linux and was wondering if it would be better to mount it on a cd [702 mb] or dvd [4.7 gb] its 698 mb
and if you could say why that would be beneficial to

Doesn't matter. But go with DVD just for the fu*k of it.
