Easy VHS to DVD/UN needs windows seven, but I have it already?

I put in the intstallation cd, and started up the process. I got to the code input and couldn't find the code. So I cancelled out and ejected the cd. Later I found the code and tried it again. But now its saying "the operating system does not meet the minimum requirements" But the minimum requirement is windows 7. I have windows seven and it wasn't doing this before. What do I do?!
