I am 29 years old i had my 4th child 8 months ago. When I am not pregnant I weigh around 140 pounds (I am 5'7") and get up to about 205 by end of pregnancy. I am back down to 143 pounds, but I can't get past that. I have been trying very hard for about 3 weeks to lose weight, and i have gained a pound. Typical day of eating before: b fast- sugary cereal white toast with butter, lunch- cheeseburger, fries, coke, snack- chips or crackers with cheese, dinner- meatloaf, mashed potat., greenbeans cooked with bacon, sweet tea., another bad snack.
Typical day of eating now: bfast- honey nut cheerios with skim milk (I measure out 1 serving), lunch- salad with baked chicken fat free dressing (no cheese, bacon, croutons etc.), snack- 100 cal bag of popcorn, dinner- baked chicken, brown rice and a veggie unsweet tea or diet soda, snack sugar free popcicle (30 cal) I went from being very active with my life but no exercising to going to the gym 5-7 days a week. doing 2 sets of 10 on all of the weight machines with as much weight as i can stand and 40-50 minutes of cardio (i try to keep heart rate around 170) short of starving myself and living at the gym what else can i do? I am very discouraged.
