Ebay Android Tablet scam?

I won an Android Tablet on Ebay. I purchased it from a top rated Ebay user. After I had payed for the item, I realized it was from Hong Kong. I'm sure I'll receive an item, how would I know if the item is somehow fake or defective. I'm pretty much illiterate when it comes to this kind of thing, any serious help would be appreciated.

What you most likely bought is an unbranded android tablet. The android operating system will be genuine, but you might find it's a bit slower than say a samsung galaxy tab. If it's defective then they should have a return/replacement policy, check the ebay listing, it should be there. In general there shouldn't be any higher risk of it being defective than the branded ones as the parts will mostly come from the same factories, they just don't have a brand name to raise the price.
