SKIP TO THE BOTTOM FOR THE CORE QUESTIONS, BUT I SUGGEST READING THE STORY TOO IN ORDER TO HELP.
I should disclaim now that this is my first time using eBay or Paypal, so bear with me.
On Monday, I bought a new phone on eBay as mine is falling apart. I bought a Blackberry Bold, for those of you whom are curious (which is no one, but pretend for me, I'm flipping excited). So the shipping was free, and the price was C 99. I realized it was coming from out of the country (Canada), but I figured my Paypal should be smart enough to pay in their currency or the American equivalent to their currency, and just bought it. It said that the Paypal successfully sent the money to the owner, even though any other page says that the owner hasn't received the money yet (which, according to my dad, just means he hasn't logged on yet... right?). Then Tuesday morning, I logged on to check if it had shipped yet like an obsessed fan girl, and it said under the C 99 price $100.21 (this information was newly updated, and had not been there the day before). I presumed this might be the American conversion to the money. However, when I logged on Paypal to check if they had made changes, the amount remained $99.00 CAD. I presumed CAD stood for 'Cash And Delivery', as the delivery is free, but it could stand for Canadian Currency.
Questions~
1. Does CAD stand for 'Cash And Delivery' or Canadian currency?
2. Did the price of the object change after I bought it? Is that possible?
3. I got free 'International Expedited Shipping'. The package is to come from Canada. When should it be here?
4. If Paypal says they successfully sent the eBay seller money but no other pages on eBay says he's received it, is this an error or has he just not logged on?
Thank you all so very much!
