Education Conspiracy?

Is there some sort of education conspiracy going on in this world? What I mean is, most people agree that getting a college education is very important, however if every single person got a college education, who would do the menial, but extremely important jobs, like garbage disposal, janitors, cleaners and factory plant workers? Is there a systematic singling out of certain students who are unknowingly earmarked for these menial jobs? Did you sometimes get the feeling at school that the teacher wasn't really talking to you? Like going through the motions when it came to certain students? Is this a hidden agenda to keep a steady supply of future low wage workers going? People who come out of the education system with little to show, but are fundamental when it comes to the basic mechanism of modern life. Opinions?

You are correct that not everyone needs to or are all required to have a college degree but I do not think there is any conspiracy. Most jobs do not require a degree but other skills that college is not appropriate for.Lincoln was self taught and became a great president.Schools are really to give all general knowledge, the 3R's, and direct those that show the aptitude for higher learning.
