Empty DVD's shows full?

Recently I purchased 10 new DVR-R and tried to write on it using Nero 6, but all the CD's are showing full..Before I could write with out any hazards. I changed those from the shop and got new set of 10, again the same result..can any one advise me on this, other than changing the software I'm using..
I'm using XP Pro...no any hardware problem, bcz i tried it on several Pc's but the same result..
I used the same directly on PC with out trying for writing, just insert CD and properties, it was full with 0 bytes in it..
 
Well, either its your hardware or your software. And from the looks of it, its your hardware. But I would need a little more information.
