1; Chelsea - They are far and away the best team in this league, and although the gap is small now, they ran away with it to start and have the potential to do so again at any point this season.
2; Man United - They are undefeated thus-far in the league and have showed a great team ethic to keep fighting. With players like Scholes, Giggs and Rooney they still a threat and can grind out results.
3; Arsenal - Brilliant passing game and great movement up the wings, but with van Persie so injury prone, they need someone more consistent to finish off attacks. Weak defence and goalkeeper issues.
4; Man City - Hardest spot to pick perhaps as Spurs are real competition, great talent pool to choose from but too inconsistent to make a strong title challenge just yet. Maybe next season. Also there is confusion as to who actually gets to play and when.
5; Tottenham - Strong team with a good manage, they have potential but look to progress to the last 16 in the CL. Which is great except i doubt their squad depth is deep enough to cope with that and the league.
6; Aston Villa - With the talent they have, and a decent manager there is no reason at all that they can't put their poor start behind them and make a good shot at Europa League.
7; Newcastle - A much better side than went down two seasons, players have matured and whilst the overall talent may not be the best in the league, they work together better than many clubs in this league. A fighting spirit having fought to grind out some very tough results, players like Carroll, Tiote, Nolan, Barton and Coloccini have grown exponentially. Liverpool or Everton may upstage them for 7th place just yet.
