Error code 50099- nintendo DS?

Okay so I just tried to trade with my friend online(pokemon heartgold) and I've done it like last week so I know it works, but now it's saying that there's no access point or something like that. And it's not my router cause I'm on my iPod touch right now.. Can anyone help me with this? Is it my DS?

you must change the security of your router to WEP, and not wpa. so youll be able to find your router in the access point in the DS. worked for me. good luck!
