Every time I try to use DivX player, it stops working. Help!?

The message 'DivX player has stopped working' comes up, and it gives me the option to close, or to check online for a solution and close. Neither helps, and it does it every time. Suggestions?

DivX Playes has stopped working

In the directory C:\Program Files\DivX\DivX Plus Player

Right click on "DivX Plus Player" and go to "Properties", in the tab "Compatibility", check "Diable visual themes" and click on OK.

It should work again
