Exchange 2003 Public Folders Post Item?

I have users that use a Post Item in Exchange 2003 to setup jobs and service calls, this was setup by a previous IT person who we no longer have contact with. There are Excel files attached to the Post Item by default. The dispatcher would like to delete and replace the Excel files. How is this accomplished? Where is the post item? Is it ON the Exchange server? I'm going crazy trying to figure this out!!!
