fastest way to get full drivers liscence (south carolina)? (will choose best answer)?

I have my permit. I got in on July 22, 2008.
If I get drivers ed and wait untill July 22, 2009 (the day it expires), can I get my full liscence (I will be 16)? or will I still have to get my restricted liscence?
