Fellow audiophiles, what do you experience and how do you invest in your hearing?

I do believe I am one since I have very sensitive hearing, out of every sense. If I had to chose between sight and hearing, I would without hesitation chose to keep the latter. I even think that my hearing is tied to the sight part of my brain because, well it's hard to explain but, I can somehow envision structure within sounds/music. I like to listen to highly-ordered music like electronic and classical genres. I also have very nice $300 sennheisers. I also know what causes youth-related mosquito hearing loss and I can still hear everything in mid-20's. Unwanted noise is by far, #1 on the annoyance list.

Another curious "talent" I have is if I have a conversation with someone and then 3 weeks later you bring up a single sentence of that conversation, I can tell you EXACTLY where we were and what I saw at that instant.

I was also wondering, I do display some aspi characteristics due to a sometimes overwhelming sensitivity - do people like me experience the same? I saw an interesting documentary about an autistic girl who was confined to a wheelchair and couldn't speak but could communicate via a computer and explained that she wasn't "shy" when dealing with new people, it's just that she "sees" and therefore experiences their faces a million times a second. It's sort of like that with me, but I just "hear" them at such a rate. Fortunately I can still do normal things like drive and talk to people mostly-normal. Interpersonal relationships have suffered tremendously, I would want to control every possible aspect of trust so I just tend to completely avoid them, lol.
