FIFA 12 online pass for xbox?

I have bought a 2nd hand copy of FIFA 12 off eBay, but the online pass has already been used. I was just going to buy one off eBay as well but I'm sceptical about their legitimacy. I have some xbox live points on my console from when I bought COD map packs. Is it possible to just buy a code of there instead?

If you have purchased a used game and the code originally included has already been activated, you will need to purchase EA SPORTS Online Pass access from within your game by choosing PURCHASE ONLINE ACCESS from the Code Redemption screen.
