First date- should I pick her up or meet her there?

I'm planning to ask a girl on a movie date. We're both 17 (we go together to school). So obviously I don't have a car. A closest movie theatre is half an hour from her house (by bus). So should I pick her up (and take a bus together to the theatre) or just meet her there?
 
I think you should meet her at her place and take the bus with her to the movies- Women love to feel pampered and validated, by you going out of your way to greet her it shows you truly care about her, and you'll be in her good books.
 
take the bus together.. escort her.. not just meet her there.. thats not the gentlemanly way!
 
If I were the girl you are taking out, I would think it was totally awesome that you rode the bus with me to the movies :]
 
Meet her there. On the bus anything could happen, if its completely empty or just has one or two people on it you could have one of those awkward moment when nobody talks for the whole time haha. Or if theres a lot of people, it would just be really uncomfortable and maybe loud. After the first few dates or when you drive, then you'll both be more comfortable and it will hopefully be better ;) Hope I helped good luck!! ^_^
