First HighSchool Car Acura MDX? help!?

is a Acura MDX a good first car? not a new one with the new bodystyle but an old used one like 2005 or 2004? im a 15 year old guys whos getting a car next week and we found a deal for like 15,000 on a 2005 with low miles. i know its a good deal but is it good for my first car? i know acuras are reliable because my mom has a 96' and an 06' rl the 96' has close to a 130,000 on it running like brand new no problems. is this a cool first car?
 
a good first car probably yes. safe and reliable. cool maybe not. you should be less concerned with being cool. your parents are spending $15,000 on your first car. my parents spent $0. be grateful
