Fish with parasites question?

I bought a Molly today and stuck in my tank. It ended up having a parasite on it. It was only in the tank for a few hours. Can my other fish get the parasites and should I treat my tank? What is the best treatment? Thank You!
I already returned the sick fish and got a new one from a different tank.
The store said it was a type of worm.

Treat your whole tank with "aquirasol" I'm not sure of the spelling. It contains copper salts that are poisonous to invertebrates.
