Fitting a cruise control to my car?

I would like to fit a cruise control to my car.
Are there any problems with these?
Where can I get one fitted (London UK)?
Or do i have to get a kit and the local garage to fit it?
I have a Vauxhall Astra automatic

Installing cruise control is nearly unheard of. So many things to replace! I have cruise but I never use it... I can't imagine it would be such a priority. I suppose it's nice on the highway...

If you do a TON of highway driving, I suppose it would be a big help, but I'd recommend simply selling your car and buying something with a factory cruise control, instead of installing one. Honestly I don't even think it's possible.

Apparently it's possible, but not likely worth all the fuss.

Check with the dealer if there a retro-fit for your car. If your Vauxhall is drive-by-wire they may have one. It'll come the cruise control buttons, some wiring, and instructions. Everything else is already there; if the car has a DBW system
