This summer I will be flying from Los Angeles to visit London for the entire month of July. It's my first time traveling alone and I have two questions....
1. What's the best airline to go on? I heard Virgin Atlantic and Air New Zealand were good (though while I was searching around, there's been a lot of negative reviews about Virgin Atlantic...?) If you happen to have any experiences with the two, or any other airline, I would love to hear from you. I'm mostly concerned with the quality and comfort, and I already know that the domestic airlines here aren't that great.
2. Since i'll be making my own transportation, the school over in London won't be picking me up and driving me to their campus. With my luggage and backpack, i was planning on traveling by tube (less inexpensive, compared to getting a cab). Is traveling by tube a good idea?
