That is great. I'm glad for you and your fishy. :-)

Fish sleep just like we do and need a night and day. They usually can just float around in a tank or get comfortable in a little nook or in a castle, plant or corner of the tank. Never keep your aquarium lights on for more than 12 hours.

Ahh, I've heard about these mysterious snails. I find it funny that I bought mine for 75 cents each!

Usually the snails can be so small that they look like a piece of debris or poop floating around in fish bag water. Even if you don't pour the water into the tank (which you should never do anyways) the net can bring them up and go into the tank with the fish.

Hope this helped!

I had recently asked a question about betta fish.
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ag3kUlwRw0UdtABeYJHpoDzsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20090317172413AAvnCVt

I would just like to say I got him a plant and tiki thing and he is doing awesome! More energetic, at the top instead of the bottom, even can see his fins! I am no way harming this animal and am taking care of it. I could of left it in it's cup for God's sake or put it in a vase. That's horrible and I would never do that. Now he has room to swim.

and, my question:
How do fish get their rest?
Also, snails. How do they get in tanks with no real plants? ( I had a 10 gallon aquarium at one point )
