I have a friend who was given a deferred adjudication (ten years probation), for Medicaid fraud for less than $200,000 and more than $100,000. Now the state of Texas is yet again Investigating him for his involvement in another company...Alleging the same Theft by a government contractor for over $100,000. What are the chances that they will throw a heavy book at him? does he even have a chance of not serving real time behind bars? Unfortunately they have heavy evidence and it doesn't look good at all for him. so any lawyers out here what do you think will happen to him?
