FroYo (Android 2.2 update) Help?

I opted for the install later option when I was prompted with the 2.2 update on my t-mobile mytouch and now the prompt hasn't come back up. It's been 4 days. Is this okay, or have I made a mistake? When I look at the phone it constantly tells me my system is up-to-date, but I know that is wrong. I'm still running 1.6.

go to settings about phone then the update option in there go to check for updates

Have you tried to restart your phone? It may be the problem but i know the updates are slowly rolling out, I have a mytouch that hasnt got the update yet but my friend has gotten the update
