My wife and I live next door to a lesbian and have been good friends to her and her partner for several years. Last year I came out to her and she has been extremely supportive. We are both in our early 50's and she and her partner have many parties (non-sexual - I think) with their lesbian, gay and straight friends some of whom I know from saying hi. In short, do you think it would be OK if she told her friends that I am gay and not to necessarily come over and say hi but just wave as in they know. I am Absolutely clueless as to were to go to meet other men... and although she has been - Extremely - supportive I feel awkward asking her where to meet other men or asking her to introduce me to several of her gay/lesbian friends at a non-sexual level. Does any of this make any sense?
