Here's the deal:
Earlier today, two of my best friends got in a fight, one straight girl, and one gay guy. They used to sit together during our lunch wave and everything. But now the girl's friends are now saying that he can't sit with them anymore because it's awkward for them to talk about boys with him around. This personally makes no sense to me, I think it would make them more comfortable to do so, but apparently not. Later, they both called me and asked me what they should do. My gay friend said:

"They kicked me out and there's no one else I can talk to, I want to freaking stab myself, but I'm not going to because I'm better than that. I thought she was my friend, but I guess not."

My other friend said:

"I didn't even have any part in this! My other friends just suddenly said that we weren't going to let him sit with us anymore...I want to tell him that it wasn't my fault at all, and i want to be his friend again, but he won't even listen to a word I say anymore."

I told my gay friend:

"You know, her group of friends aren't exactly the nicest people, you might want to consider trying to get some new friends. But don't worry, I promise you'll still have friends after this, no one that REALLY cares about you will leave you."

I said to my other friend:

"You should probably apologize to him. I'll tell him to listen to you, but you need to stick up for him. You're friends really didn't have any right to just kick him out like that. If you really want to continue to be his friend, then you need to stick up for him. Don't try to but him to blame though, I think he might just be misunderstanding the whole situation, tell him everything you told me and I'm sure he'll understand."

Directly after that, I sent a txt message to my gay friend saying that she would be calling him. A while later, I got another txt from himsaying that when they called they got in a HUGE fight. Neither of them know what to do, and I have no idea what advice to give them. I don't want to see either of them get hurt because they're both my friends, but I'm completely stumped on what to tell them...any tips?
