Girls please? A good funny pick up line that's cheesy and will make a girl laugh.?
I have never had a pick up line work on me before...but I never shut down a guy for trying either. I usually laugh but it doesn't make me interested in them. BUT! That is just me, some girls totally dig the attention and care of breaking the ice.
I even saw a guy use a cheesy pick up line on the train and the girl let him sit beside her and chat.
The only thing that has ever made me give my phone number away was:
I was standing in a station waiting for my bus to arrive. A guy walks up and asks me if he can use my cellphone because his is dead and he needs to tell his friend he's at the station.
I am sort of a paranoid person and said sorry I don't lend my phone to strangers, politely. He continued though..."Hey how about you take my iphone while I use your cell." (Mine is a cheap samsung) This way he proved he has no intentions of stealing my phone which I didn't think he was going to do...I just didn't want some random guy using my cell ha-ha!
So, I thought...wow I'm being mean I should let him call him friend. And insisted he just used my cell and didn't need to let me hold his iphone but he put it in my hands anyways. He makes the call and they don't pick up then he says his thanks. He starts to talk to me and we ended up chatting while waiting for my bus to come...in the end he has been the only guy I ever gave my number to because he so deceptively started a conversation and asked politely.
He wasn't creepy and just started talking to me, he broke the ice by pretending to call his friend. (I saw him using his phone when I got on the bus, it wasn't dead
)
Another time this guy on a bus asked me if I could read his text because he forgot his glasses. So I started reading it out loud to him "Hey, you're really pretty-" I stopped reading it out loud and I'll admit...it made me smile. At the time I was dating someone and had to politely decline going out.

Pick up lines only work if your clever and being yourself. Not only that, you have to know how to hold a conversation after the initial contact. Here is one of my favorites.
