Glock Questions by a newbie into this hobby!?

Hi there,

1. Is Glock 19 the most versatile of the models, approx cost, is it 9mm or 357, auto or semi?

2. Does it come with a laser sight specific for it & how much would that cost?

3. Any other hand gun better than it like Beretta etc?

Thanks.
Thanks for your detailed replies.

Am new to this hobby & go to practice at a firing club. I do own a few hunting guns but no hand guns yet.

One last question difference between a laser sight, scope & high viz?

Thanks.

The Glock 19 is a 9mm semi-auto, polymer framed pistol. The cost of the pistol varies by dealer and options, i.e. night sights. It does not come factory equipped with a laser sight, and the cost of an after market laser runs from approximately $30 to several hundred dollars.

As for "better," that is completely subjective. I like Glock pistols, but am not a fan of the 9mm. My everyday carry sidearm is a Glock 31C with tritium night sights. The 31 is chambered for .357 Sig, though it simply marked 357. DO NOT confuse .357 Sig with .357 Magnum! (Smith and Wesson calls .357 Sig ".357 Auto".)

The 19 is good for conceal and range for its small enough to conceal but still has a nice barrel length and uses the 9mm so rounds are cheaper, if your going for just a range pistol go for the Glock 34 and put a hi viz sight on it you wont need a laser
