Here's the deal. I was hoping to run down to my local GNC store and pick up some protein mixers for when I workout.

Now, I' pretty much new to this so I don't want to go head first into something I have no idea about. My age is 15 and I weigh 115LBS male. This is not normal for a regular 15 year old. I have a high motabolism.
Weight lifting (such as benchpress, curls, situps) do not realy work. I should know from first hand experience. Instead of gaining muscle, it tends to drop my weight and make me weaker as time progresses. It's like I would be better off..and this is the basic workout for 1 day, relax 2 days. Im active 6/7 days.

Eating a good diet isn't working for me either. It seems to have the same affect. But then I was told about getting some protein mixing powder/pills for when I workout that would help. I'm not big on the health topic but I do know protein makes you strogger.

So I guess what I am asking is:
1) What should I do to gain weight and workout?
2) Is GNC any good?
3) What are the effects of protein pills/powder?
4) Is there anything better that can work for me better than this?
5) Any other opinions are welcome

1) What should I do to gain weight and workout? - If you aren't from regularly lifting, try the protein shakes.
2) Is GNC any good? Yup, my friend goes there for the shakes and he's a beast
3) What are the effects of protein pills/powder? -Not really sure
4) Is there anything better that can work for me better than this? Probably not

If i were you i would stick to eating regular, and perhaps a Creatin supplement to help your muscles in healing after you tear them (build more) Muscle is naturally more dense than fat and by building muscle you will gain weight, The problem with what you're wanting with protein mix's you have to BURN them into muscle otherwise they will become fat.

Try to talk to you're high school wrestling/football/weight coach and ask them for some pointers.
