Hi, I've been taking GNC Waterex for 2 days. I take it at about 3pm because I have other supplements to take in the morning.
My reason for taking it is because my stomach has been looking bloated for the past week. My lower tummy in particular protrudes as if I'm 2 months pregnant and looks round like a ball! This mostly happens at night. My weight increased due to the bloating and that upset me. But a few hours after taking Waterex yesterday, my weight was about 1kg less!
Anyway, I woke up a few times last night with a parched throat and a need to relieve my bladder. It was annoying to say the least. I usually keep a glass of water next to my bed but I hardly finish that glass. Last night I had to refill the glass.
This evening, I found myself feeling dehydrated and parched but couldn't drink a lot of water because my stomach was getting too full. I called GNC and asked if this is normal and I was told that the pills will make me thirsty and I will have to drink more water to flush out the excess fluid retention.
I'm just not sure if I should go on taking the pills. I mean, it has helped a lot for the bloating but it's making my stomach uncomfortable to have to drink so much of water. Not to mention the nighttime thirst and loo-going.
Any opinions?
