My husband has a double last name and we just noticed that it was switched around on the booking information. On his passport and on his green card they are correct. They didnt put the "-" sign in between them so it doesnt make it too obvious.

Instead of Ricardo Banana Boat the have it as Ricardo Boat Banana.
Lol sorry for my horrible example.

Is this going to be a problem?
Carnival is trying to charge us $50 to have this corrected!!!! Insane if you ask me.

Call directly to the cruise company they should have a number to call explain it to them they should be able to give u an answer they are very stricted when getting on ships now do it now otherwise your will be delayed getting on and if the problem was caused on their end they should fix it. (get names on who u talk to for back up) Cruise are great have fun!!!

If you booked directly from the cruise: when you made the last payment the customer service rep was suppose to confirm the names. Those calls should be recorded, so you might have a case.
If the cruise was booked with an agent. That agent should take care of that for you for free

If you have insurance, threaten to cancel if they won't change it for free.

Who's fault was it? If you can prove its theirs then make them pay for it.

Bottom line, you need a passport to get out of the country, and there's that ever so slight chance that they could refuse to let you go, so even if you have to pay for it, I would get it taken care of.
