I have been primarily feeding my 2 comet, 1 common and 1 Shubunkin goldfish fish flakes. But I have heard U can give them fruits and vegetables and other things etc. Could U guys give me some suggestions on the type of vegetables and fruit I can feed them...
Were I work we offer slices of oranges, romaine lettuce, cucumber and zucchini as well as peas.
The orange slices float at the surface and the little guys go crazy for the meat of the fruit, eating it all and leaving the skin in a matter of minutes. This one always seemed to be their favorite.
I'm not much of a fan of cuccumber though, as it tends to fall apart quicklly and create a heck of a mess, the seeds often getting lodged in the filter.
