I would like to take my girlfriend somewhere nice. She has never even been on an airplane. Yeah, she is one of those....I want her to see beautiful beaches and romantic sunsets. Anyway, I wanted to take her to Cancun but with the time difference and our short 3 day allowance, I dont think that would be a good idea. Can you all give me some ideas? I would like to do this the last week in March.

Check into cruises.. They can be very cheap if you get a good deal, and they include food which is a big saver. And you can go to some beautiful places! They have short 3 day cruises.

Or, find a nice place that is a short drive or a short flight so you don't waste time traveling and stay in a nice hotel.

How about a trip to Padre island down in the most southern part of Texas. Near Ft Hood. Kileen Texas.
Not knowing in what part of the USA you are at. it's hard to tell you. I live in Kansas. Padre is about a 5 hour drive from here. I think she is a lucky lady I hope you two have a wonderful time.

Its kind of hard to pick a specific place with out knowing where you are from. But me and my wife took a 3 day vacation for my birthday back when we started dateing that turned out rather well. We went to St. Augustine, a old historic town in florida. We stayed at a bed and breakfast with a whirlpool tub in the room and a during the day we walked the city taking in the sites. Historic towns usually have alot of romantic spots and nice little places the two of you can go. Then at night we went on ghost hunting tours and some of the more spooky places as it is suposed to be a haunted city. Heck we even chose our room based off of it suposedly being haunted.

Now we don't believe in ghosts but we both like horror movies so that was something fun we both enjoyed that it offered there. So see if there are any historic towns near you. Like I said they usually have some romantic places to stay and things to do.
