Good Blue-ray player?

Ok so my DVD player is starting to suck, it skips brand new DVDs and if its been on for a hour it just shuts off. So I figured I'd just get a Blue-ray player. But I don't know much about them. I want one that will play all DVDs and isn't outrageous! So I was wondering could someone suggest a few good ones for me?
