GOOD RECIPE for CROCK-POT SLOW COOKED HAM? I'm looking for a REALLY good but

SIMPLE recipe (more)...? I have a low sodium small ham (2.25 pounds = 1 kg) & want to slow-cook it today. Would like for it to be VERY tender (fall-apart tender). I used to use brown sugar, and/or maple syrup, pineapples in juice and a bit of water and slow-cook for about 5 hours......ANY ideas for something that would get "WOW! That was GREAT!" comments?
I'll try what looks like the BEST yet MOST SIMPLE answer and give you my feedback as well as the comments from my family!
