Good sports bike for learners?

Good weather is coming and I want to learn to ride a bike. Ive rode on one before but it was a gsx-r 1000, way to big to learn on haha. What are some that look decent and are around the 250cc mark. Just a learners bike but would like to keep it. Thanks
 
Common learner bike is the Kawasaki Ninja 250, as they are wanted by new riders to; You wont loose as much when you want to sell it and move up.
