Good vacation spots for the outdoorsman?

I will have 500 bucks, and two weeks of vacation time this spring. Just planning ahead to where I could go.

I would prefer primitive camping, but I wouldn't mind staying in a lodge since I have some money saved up.

Also, it's for a college kid going solo... so nothing extreme.

My siblings and a friend spent an awesome week of camping in Cosby, TN. I can't remember the name of the campground, but it's a small town so you'll be able to find some in that area. It wasn't exactly roughing it in the truest sense, but there were trails and awesome hikes to even better views right in the campground. Around the area, with some travel, are other awesome hiking spots and beautiful views. Check it out.
 
I love hiking and camping because those are fun and adventurous...

When I go for travel I make sure it is organized...

I usually go to some reliable travel site that organized travel better...

Also try cruise travel it is fun too...^_^
