We would like to be able to get the same search results from a Google search in Italy, that we do in South Africa?
So for example we would be chatting to our Italian affiliates in Italy, and comparing search results on our side? The problem is that we are both comparing different results on the same search engine (www.google.it) using the identical browsers, O.S. & localization and search term?
I would like to know if there is a way that we can compare the exact search results that people are getting in Italy that we see in South Africa or any other country for that matter?
I am aware that results vary based on geographical locations, browser used, account that is signed in with etc.
Basically I emailed someone at Google (multiple times) and phoned, and hoped that I could get some sort of explanation, but I got a reply that
"I was unable to find an answer for you on this, beyond trying to mask and change your IP" I did query if there was some sort of technical work around or solution like a proxy server that I could access. I dont think that masking my IP address would work because I would fall outside of my countries allocated IP address block? Is spoofing even legal? Anyway I was unhappy with the way Google did nothing to resolve this query and i am desperatley looking for a solution for this problem. Does anyone have any work arounds or suggestions? thank you kindly and in advance
