My friend who works at (not for, so she doesn't know enough about it) told me that the station has to read out certain news by law
does anyone know what she's talking about? What it's called or where I can look up information on it?
I was complaining about the same boring news stories just being re-hashed on every channel and random stories being blew up (shannon mathews and madeleine mccan for example) and that's when she told me it's actually a requirement and they are restricted in how tv shows, radio etc tell the news, what they talk about
