Mainly, be there for him, but you can't do anything about it. It's just the nature of how school works. There is always the better athlete, cheerleader, etc. He'll work it out and as they grow and change, things will be okay. Don't get in the middle of it. If his friends find out his mommy is trying to do something, it will only make things worse.
 
my son is a tween ,he is ok not too shy .He is being shunned by his friends for somethings ,sometimes they let him play but other times they dont .I just learnt they dont throw football to him at recess because they think he is not good .I know my son is good at throwing and catching he is a good athlete .My son is unable to tell much information but I wonder if there must be more to the problem than he understands .what are some of the topics a tween talks ,how is a typical boys day is like , what are some of the behaviours at this age does any of you have suggestions ? my son is not a conversation starter ,sometimes a bit geeky how can i help him he is trying
