I am in my senior year of high school and have been looking into becoming a hair dresser. I have looked into different local schools where I could take cosmetology and have done a little research on it.
I am constantly told by my family members that this is not the right way for me to go. They say it does not make "enough" money to get by, and that after you get your certification, there is no room to advance (in other words, no future). My question is.. Is there anyone out there that has gone into this field? What are your opinions about the job?
I really think that this is what I want to do in life. I just don't want to have that feeling later on in life, "I wish I would have done something else."
