Hello all,
I need to sew urgently some labels/tags on garments and textile items that i will be purchasing.
The reason is that it need to mention my company name and washing instructions and the time is tight so I can not order it, i don't have much experience with sewing, but just need to add that inside the clothes.
Anybody has anybody tried this before?
What are the pros and cons of each solution ?
I hear hand held machines are not so reliable ....? What about glue ? I' m worry it might damage the fabric, color, smell ?
I also heard something about transfer, and I do not mean ink transfer but somehow affixing the taffeta, satin or nylon label to the cotton, rayon, polyester or silky garment. Will fusible web be suitable or not considering that some textiles are white, or almost transparent?
Any serious ideas most welcome. Please refrain from nonconstructive answers.
