Name pitcher that have an under 3.00 RAA (runs allowed average) minimum 1000 IP. This lifetime of course.
It is a very short list if no one gets this I will furnish clues
First clue only 6,7 or 8 pitchers have accomplished this
Attentin not looking at ERA looking ar runs allowed Gibson for example had a 2.91 ERA but his RAA was 3.29 when you factor in his 162 unearned runs allowed
Ford RAA 3.14 Seaver RAA 3.15 Marichal RAA 3.41 he had 203 unearned runs (wow) Hoffman was until last season 2010 blow up which boosted his RAA from 2.998 to 3.12 .
You are right Rivera is one of them , Guess some more
Chrissarr thanks not looking them up but other then Rivera your answers incorrect . Utter Chaos Ed Walsh is correct his 1.82 ERA even with his 275 un earned runs RAA 2.65 that's 2 there are a few more. A hint this one that got me to research this Tris Speaker said he should of stayed a pitcher lol

I think bad question, I think you badly miscalculated...

I don't look up.....but I did look up the the ERA to make sure...Whitey Ford, Bob Gibson, Hoffman, Rivera, Tom Seaver, Juan Marichal...and I did not go deeply..there must be many more.

EDIT:Hubert, I'm not the kind of guy to look things up, I always go on instinct..it's no fun looking up.
