Awesome company, all of their bikes are still made by hand. Outstanding quality and the have a bunch of models to choose from.

KHS has my vote. They are one of the few companies that actually design and build their own bikes. They also probably have more experience in building steel DJ frames than anyone else on the planet. I've been to their factory and it is clean, efficient, and well organized.

Haro is built by one of several factories and although this doesn't mean that their quality is lacking it DOES mean that they look for best price rather than highest quality.

By the way, despite assumptions to the contrary, virtually every bike frame you can think of regardless of brand or model is built by hand while almost every bike WHEEL is partially or totally built by machine. Bikes are assembled, of course, by hand on a production line.

im thinking of getting a DJ/UA bike, and im trying to decide on either the '09 Haro Steel Reserve 1, or something from KHS, any suggestions? or maybe another good brand? thanks(:
