or legit? I got a call today from 5th Avenue Vacations saying I won a free all-inclusive trip to the Bahamas for a 4 day/3 night stay at the Bell Channel Inn. They do ask for a $90 administration and booking fee just to send us information about the trip, which sounds like a scam to me. I have called the Bell Channel Inn to make sure they knew of the company, which they did but I am still wondering if this is a scam or if others have gone on this vacation before? PLEASE HELP because I do not want to spend my money on something that is just too good to be true!!

NOTE: The company did specify that this is not a timeshare, so we al least know they wont be trying to sell us one of those...

I actually did go on this trip for my honeymoon. Before we left, my new husband & I decided to check out some more stuff on the web and we noticed that the administration & booking fee was a little bit less than we had paid. It was just a little less, but a dollar is a dollar, so I called to ask about it & told them how this trip was supposed to be so special and any money we could save would be awesome. The reservationist I talked to was great!!! Even though he could not refund the difference, he made it up to us and gave us some credit towards the upgrade dinner & champagne brunch on the ship. It was so cool, we did not have to wait in line for anything, someone met us at the port in Ft Lauderdale (I have no idea how they knew who we were) but, anyway he just walked us to the front of line and then on to the ship & put us in the VIP room, then escorted us to breakfast, the same thing coming home. I felt like a celebrity. Don’t pay any attention to the people who aren't even actual customers, all they did was fill my stomach with un-neccessary butterflies, they probably will go their whole life and never get to enjoy a vacation outside the US. It was really wonderful and made my honeymoon something special to remember. We are even planning on going back next year for our 1 year anniversary. I can wait!
