Has anyone heard a rumor about Inauguration Day and Martial Law being declared?

Supposedly the Postal Service, UPS, all airlines, banks, government agencies, everything is going to be shut down Monday! Martial Law is supposed to be imposed!

Personally, I don't believe this stuff, but alot of others seem too!

So, have any of you heard about this stuff? Just wondering how far this rumor has gotten!
 
Monday is a federal holiday, and gov't insitutions, banks, etc., always close down for them.

In all seriousness, that's retarded, but it's good to have guns anyways.
 
Utter horse sh*t. Martial Law is only imposed during emergencies to end all emergencies, think nuclear attack.

Well, seeing as monday is a holiday, doesnt surprise me that many places will be closed. The federal goverment has declared tuesday a holiday as well to reduce the amount of persons attempting to enter the city. Currenty 5 million or so people are expected to show up. The reason it was declared a state of emergency was so the locality could release the funds to pay for the extra cops and security (75 million).
 
No I have not heard anything like that and I think it would take a lot more than the almighty Obama's inauguration to impose martial law.
