I am looking for those reflective rainbow coloured paint for my boat. So far I can only find it in car paints, can I use car paints for this job? It's NOT underwater and it will be used in seawater. Thanx!
if you can get the fiberglass clean and primed i'm sure the paint will stick.remember cars are also used around beaches and the paint stays on.paint you're boat the same way you would paint a car.clean the fiberglass with acetone,use a good primer,use what paint you want,but i think the secret to success is the clearcoat.the clearcoat or top coat is going to be a finish recomended for boats.some of the boat repair shops might let you in on their secret for painting boats.
