Has anyone tried raising the seat on a stationary bike for longer legs?

I can deal with everything else about my body, but I really can't stand my legs. They are so short and thick. Can raising the seat on a bike result in the muscle stretching?
I also need to work on better posture for my shoulders.
I wish I could keep growing, damn. I'm 16 but I'm pretty sure I've stopped now.
