Have torrent downloads been shutdown?

thepiratebay.org and others are down. Is this permanent?
LOL! Sorry for the scare... thepiratebay.org was down and for some reason no sites were coming up on Vuze. I thought I read somewhere that the hammer is about to drop on torrent dl. Glad it hasn't happened yet :)

torrents would never be down aslong if people have the torrent files in there hard drives. there are other methods of finding torrents one way is using www.isohunt.com to search for torrent (similar to google) and download torrent.
